The visuals and DiCaprio's performance were stunning. I feel like I learned a lot. Like most of Scorsese's work it was a veeeerrrry slow burn. Really interesting depiction of mental illness, which was one of the main reasons I persisted. I respect Scorsese's craft a lot, but I have yet to find one of his films that has hooked me yet.
