I thought about scrapping this statement entirely as I felt it would be pretentious, but it's truly how I see the movie. While a bit dull, it is a very witty deconstruction of student films. Can't wait to see part 2.

Makes me nostalgic for a life I never had. Filled to the brim with a lot of the director's idiosyncrasies this is a charming and often heartbreaking lookback on a man's life.
