    Underwater

    ★★★

Pity Underwater, friends, for it is fighting a losing battle from the get-go: it’s built from parts that any person over 30’ is like to recognize; it endears us to its actors more than characters. Which means for many people it’s derivative and thinly sketched at best. That’s a valid take on Underwater.

    Little Monsters

    ★★★★

There’s so much to love about this movie so at the risk of spoiling anything: if there is a Josh Gad Mount Rushmore that already includes both Olaf and Elder Cunningham (cuz duh), go on and chisel Teddy McGiggle right the hell on up there now. Make him all four slots. Give McGiggle his Better Call Saul.

Josh Gad is famous but, if there is any justice, McGiggle makes him infamous.

    Please watch Little Monsters 🙌🏻
